Default DIY: 7AT Hazard light/Phone charger relocate

For anyone that has the 7AT, there is an empty socket where the syncro-rev button is suppose to go. So I though to myself, why not move the phone charger here, since it would be more convenient. Than I could fit the OEM tray into the middle consul and actually use it, cause if you have the charger in there.. it would not fit! So here is what I did.

Moved the hazard light from the left side, to the right side. Relocated the phone charger from inside the middle compartment to the left side, where the hazard light use to be. And ran hidden wires all the way down the middle for my iPod.

I know the charger sticks out a bit, but I don't really care. When the car is turned on, the ring at the top lights up red, matching the rest of the lights in the car. Some of you may have a charger that is shorter and my not stick out like mine does.

So if anyone wants a DIY for this, please say so! cause I'm not gonna take this all apart and take pictures for the whole project, if you guys don't care for it. Waste of time, time I could use to be

Btw, I took apart the shifter, shifter tray(the P|R|N|D), and all that was left was the shifter stick itself. I'm thinking of putting this in.

Does anyone know if we can fit a 350|370z, G35|37 shift boot in the AT? and make it look good with the momo shift knob?

i'd definitely be interested.... its a pain in the *** for me to plug the phone charger in the center console , since i have to relocate the tray in there etc etc...... My main question would be whats the difficulty associated with it on a scale of 1-10 ?,

Also very interested, it'd put that empty button slot to good use.

Id be really interested in the Shift boot for the AT part... I'd love to cover that up and give it a mimic look.

Bump for DIY.

Decided to do this today. I wasn't that hard. I took pictures but stopped half way in cause I cut the crap out of my hand. I will post up a write up an pics tomorrow. I want to try a few more things first to kind of make it look better, but overall a good mod. I may replace it and put my remote bass controller there.
