on the resevoir cap for the power steering fluid, it says to use dexron type ATF. i just wanted to make sure this is correct. i've always used power steering

ATF for power steering fluid?
on the resevoir cap for the power steering fluid, it says to use dexron type ATF. i just wanted to make sure this is correct. i've always used power steering fluid for the power steering, not ATF. but that's what it says...

Yes ATF. I used the Redline D6 (i.e. the equivalent) - don't overfill, especially if you track.
The main difference between PS fluid and modern ATF is the viscosity and additives. Some cars call for PS fluid, but more often than not newer cars are using a Dextron VI ATF.
