Hello,
I installed also the fog light, but the led's
are very dark. It is possible to make them lighter?
(sorry for my bad English, I'm from Germany)

You may have a high resistance connection somewhere causing low voltage to the lamps when current is flowing. Check voltage at fog light while the light is on.

I wonder if any of y'all can help me find where I messed up. The instructions are simple enough but for some reason, my fog lamp starts to flicker on its steady mode about 5 minutes into driving. I soldered the red to red, white to orange (reverse), and grounded the black to the factory ground behind the driver side tail light. It still flickers. So I ended up switching to 18 gauge wiring instead of the 16 gauge evor provides. It still flickers. So I ended up wiring it to the other tail light, still flickers. I changed the grounding point to another hole I found on the chassis, still flickers. I cannot for my life identify the problem. Please help, it only starts to flicker after a little bit of driving. It doesn't flicker right when I turn it on after letting the car cool down. Should I try splicing the ground wire into the tail light ground wire?

Edit: I know it's not the light itself because Jay from EvoR ever so kindly sent another one as we thought the first one was broken in some way and after wiring the new one in...still flickers

I can't think of anything that would cause your symptoms. :(

I'm curious as to why you would go to smaller (less ampacity) wire. :confused:

I'm no electrician but I figured if the wires attached to the fog lamp were 18 gauge, it would be better to use the same gauge. It made sense in my head

Ah. A reasonable conclusion if one is not an electrician. As long as it will physically fit, a wire can't be too big - although it may be a waste of wire. The bigger 16 ga wire would theoretically be better but, in your situation, it shouldn't make enough difference to matter.

trying to get a 3 flashs after brakes applied. I ordered a M1 3rd brake flasher - but no luck with the configuration. My Evo'r light keeps flashing as soon and brakes are applied and continues, but...

Check this out...

These guys got it done...it's near the end of the video but 3 flashes then off. Parking lights are on, job well done!

I am a little confused, what is the wiring setup to produce this result? I would also like this to function similar to our 3rd brake light. I will also be using the kahtec smart stop delay with the constant on to provide the flashing effect as well as the solid on.

Definitely notice that people tend to keep their distance now ;-)

2 1/2 years later, I notice this question was directed towards me, lol. Sorry...

From 370z -> EVO-R Foglight:
Green -> Red
Red -> White
Black -> Black

I also soldered bullet connectors to the wires for quick disconnect/alternative configuration.
