i did mine yesterday, but got the new one that only blink for 5 seconds when braking.

I got the 5sec one to love it. At first I didn't want to buy one if it was going to blink for ever when the brake light was on. I didn't want the cop to check out my exhaust at the light Lol

EVO-R Foglight, existing Z wiring and coupling

Why isn't the existing tan/black wiring coupling, which is clipped to the light housing, powered with the brake lights or otherwise. Is it merely in the harness to be tied to switch if used in European or Asian markets?

Has anybody tapped the light mint green brake light wire to the tan wire for ease of installation and powered that wire directly?

So how can I avoid running wires to a switch all the way up front? All I want really is to have the flashing reverse and the light steady on with the brake lights.

If I read correctly, the flashing reverse goes to the orange wire. But would the steady on go to the green wire? (or red?)

Assuming the switch up front would only benefit if you wanted to turn it off/on whenever you want?

It looks nice!!

Do you know if the fog light can turn on when the tail lights go on as well?

Maybe somebody can make it work like you say above.

Some photo of the wiring setup.
Note: Testing the lights, make sure you have the taillight connected. Else when trun on parking light it will keep on blinking.

Help how do I fix!!!?!?!http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/18/se5a3uru.jpg

Clean off all the old glue. Put back together with RTV.

Zoren 370 06-17-2014 08:03 PM

Or send it back to China!

EVOR 06-18-2014 12:04 AM

If you like I can sent replacement. PM me. Or you can glue it back. Looks like the adhesive we use cannot take the heat in TX.

What is the red wire on the rear light for? And is it always on when the car is on? And off when the car is off?

FLUJOKE 02-23-2015 05:29 PM

It's on when the running lights are on in sub 12s. Always on on 13+ bc of the LEDS. It blinks when brake is pressed for 1-3 secs twice. Then steady until released.
