Sale on Purolator Pure One Oil Filters

There's a deal going on right now for the filter mentioned in AK370Z's thread ( http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...es-inside.html ) -

5 Purolator filters for $15 from Advance Auto Parts (store locator: Advance Auto Parts )

See this slickdeals.net thread: 5x Purolator PureOne Oil Filters - Slickdeals.net

Yeah and if you have two different cars, you can add 3 of one Purolator item # and 2 of another for your other car, and the BIG10 coupon code will still work (you just need to be at $25 to get $10 off. Each Purolator is on sale at $5)

Got 5 filters for just under $16 with tax with in-store pickup.

kind of confused. AK said he used part number PL14610
but the Advance auto parts site suggests the PL14612. my concern is that i bought the filter mag, and i want to make sure its compatible with the oil filter that advance auto parts suggests.

When you select your car model on the site, it lists base, Nismo, 40th, and Touring. I don't think AK has a touring. Also, he has a 2009, you have 2010. Might make a difference.

Reps if you benefitted from this? ;)

i think the only difference is the height, one is taller than the other

i got mine, thanks for finding these +rep

The PL14610 is the long version of the PL14612. Either filter fits (all models use the same filter) without an issue even if you have an adapter plate for an oil cooler.

im looking at getting redline and changing my oil at the 7k interval. i read pureone recommends changing its filter every 3k. will i have any issues extending the filter to 7k? if not then what filter do you all recommend for my desired oil change interval? i dd my nismo with the occasional fun drive btw :)
