349 Auto Transmission Control Device :: Power Train :: Genuine Nissan Parts :: GTR Parts (R35) 2009-2010 :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com

But after carefully looking at this picture..

I would think it's best that we buy a RHD R35 shift knob. This would mean that the labels on the shift knobs would be accurate to us LHD 370z 7AT owners.

I think the japanese and us versions are the same. That's how it was for the 350z automatic. I'm guessing because the gtr isn't a big seller nissan didn't change the automatic for the us market.

I'd like to revive this thread - the stock 7at shift knob is not complimentary to the rest of the car. Has anyone managed to install the GTR shift knob?

Has anyone tired to cut down the "white part" nub to lower the shifter? I like the Momo version, but think it sits too high. Thanks!

You cannot cut down the white plastic part by itself (like you could in the 350z); there is a metal shaft that is inside and it would need to be cut as well.

Reviving the thread...

A few questions:

1. How thick is the inside shaft? How hard would it be to cleanly trim? I

2. s it just a push down actuator? or is there wiring inside?

3. Would it be possible to chop off a good inch without compromising its ability to operate properly?

As to the GT-R knob, either a cf overlay or perhaps having the button polished smooth (assuming the chrome wouldn't flake off) should work.
