I had the same problem! I had to cut the cat in half and pry it off/use an air chisel to break ther bolt! NOT FUN!!!

These "Demon Bolt" threads have me really second guessing the HFCs.

No need to stress my Z friend. All you can do it TRY and if all fails you will have to do what you have to, to remove the cats! (or limp your Z to a shop!) Get a 6 POINT SOCKET set and a long 1/2 extension and breaker bar for the top bolts that you access from the top of the engine bay (you remove the air intakes for this btw). Use lots of PB Blaster and if you can spray the bolts the few days before hand. Oh and do not think you can get this done in a couple hours. Reserve the WHOLE day just in case the demon pays you a visit!!! have a hack saw and air chisel handy along with a case of beer. :bowrofl: :ughdance:
