I just bought the jack stand pads and it didn't damage the pinch rails today.

I wanted to take a look at the stock exhaust and how much space I have to work with underneath the z.

Braden, there is a guy who designed a urethane jack pad for Nissan's on G35Driver for the jack locations you are refering to. The post is HERE, post 111 shows the part he came up with.
