air filter availability

I am finding that most auto parts stores in my area don't stock our air filters. Has anyone else had this prob.

I've found that there are multiple ones that will fit the car. My local store had 2 types that fit. No problems here.

I tried a local store, was looking for purolator filters but no luck. I ended up going to the dealer for OEM filters. And for the record I wasn't interested in the K&N ones, just regular throw-away filters.
