I was wondering if it was possible to wrap the side b-pillars without removing them, good job again bro

yah, just make sure you clean the area with rubbing alcohol before (the side and wraparound back side edge), make your template, cut it to size, dry place it onto the trim, heat it a little bit, use your nail or plastic razor/squeegee and push it into the gap. i did the same for the door trims as well. perfect finish.

looking good, tongman! i could see myself doing the front fang but that rear looked pretty intimidating! (so i just bought the fujimura auto diffuser for that )

Trust me. The rear was so easy compared to the front fangs. BTW, what size sheet did you ordered?

i already have CF fangs so im all set. i just got the 4ft roll. it's perfect for doing interior and the b-pillars. i still got some left. i was hoping to do the guage hats but i have to break the posts inorder to remove them. service manual illustration and actual post locations were COMPLETELY different.

I have some of that vinyl coming to my house, so for that volume piece did you make a template, then trace it on the carbon vinyl?

basically all the pieces including the b-pillar i made a template first and traced it to the backside of the 3M sheets. remember to flip the template over otherwise you get a mirror image vinyl.

for making the template, i recommend you use a blank piece of paper and a stylus (or anything dull) to get the general shape and outline. also use your fingers to press and get the general outline. then cut a tad larger than the traced indent and keep trimming it until you get the right size. use a pen/pencil to take notes on the template and cut.

if you screw up and cut too much, no worries. just use masking tape from both sides and cut it again. no need to start from scratch.

i think im pretty much done for now. i still have a good 12x12 inch size left.
so, the 4ft roll will be plenty to do the interior and B-Pillars.

Hey kenchan, how did you make the template for the steering wheel volume area? It's soo small, I can't figure out how to do these stupid templates, lol

hahahaha, its the same as the others. Piece of paper over the trim, use a stylus or nails to press and trace the overall size and dim, do a rough cut with scissors, go back to your trim and use a pen and scissors/knife and cut to size.
