Definitely agree with @madeinjapan. I installed a 2DIN Apple Carplay headunit and I ended up running the ground to the screw that secures the panel to the car that houses the Push To Start and Passenger airbag covers. My dumbass first placed it on the inside (it was only touching plastic) So I had to place it on the outside up against the bolt and have had ZERO problems since.

I am looking into getting a 2din for my ‘13. Do your steering controls all work? Do you have the Bose system? What head unit did you get?
