This is a standard 7443. Remove the outer contacts marked with the red arrow by wiggling them back and fourth until they break. Carefully bend the inner contacts marked with a green arrow to the outer position (where the outer contacts were). Inner contacts are 5.4 watts, the outer contacts are 25 watts like the 7440 (turn signal bulbs).... way too bright. It's possible that there are lower wattage LED's that would work. This brightness matches the rear red parking lamp brightness better. The stock 7440 is as bright as the turns or brake lights and i don't think it should be.

this part is tricky but doable. You have to insert those tips on the back of the license plate light. If you notice on my pictures how they insert. It is a tight fit but you need to be very patient....

let us know if you need help..

The invisicord is just a simple 3' wires with 2 connections, one is black and the other one is yellow. You will connect the invisicord to the back of the harness on the fog lamp. On the fog lamp there are 2 wires hooking up to a connector, you will place the invisicord wire on the back of that connector. Let me know if this info helps, feel free to hit me up, I do have plenty of pictures that help illustrate the installation.:tiphat:

Here is your answer. You hook it up to the back of the connector of the fog light. The back of the fog light connector would be the so called harness.

Like lastblueprint stated it could be done like his DIY. But the Z1 short cable you bought should have came with instructions (per Z1 website) on how to wire it up correctly its a different DIY then lastblueprint created.
