I overheard a 350Z owner discussing how he used bumper plugs from a site with the same name to plug his license plate holder holes. They looked nice! These plugs are for Porsche but work on the Z as well.

No need to spend $30 on those official "Bumper Plugs".
Home depot or Lowes has a drawer of these in various sizes for less than $2/pair. I painted a pair with touch up to deal with the holes on my GTI....
