I did not have any issues with mine either. I have all the proper tools and an impact gun so that helped speed the install. Good luck getting your finished. Hopefully before the exhaust arrives

This might work for the 15mm but will not for the 20mm - the studs are just too long - plus I agree with wheee! that removing the parking brake items is a breeze.

I think the car looks just awesome with this setup! And, I got it finished before the exhaust showed up.

Actually, it works for the 20mm. You just have to rotate the hub by hand a bit.

Really? I tried and tried and just couldn't get the angle right I guess (thank God I never had that issue with my wife

). Had zero issues doing it the way that wheee! described (with the spacers that is, NOT my wife

I've done it both ways (

) and never had an issue. Like you said, moving the parking brake assembly is not hard at so it's up to personal preference I guess...

Now you need to lower the car a little to reduce the wheel well gap. Another not so hard DIY install.

just finished up the rear. almost perfect install. writeup was perfect. i had all 4 corners done within a little over an hour.

only problem i ran into was when i went to loosen the locker lug, it was super loose. thought it was weird but payed no attention. as i finished that wheel and was just threading them on semi tight (no torque yet) the damn locker broke in half! i did the other 4 lugs no problem and moved to the other rear. same thing with the looseness on the locker. once i pulled it off and upon inspection, i noticed a hairline crack about 3/4s the way around the locker. i didn't re-install. finished up that wheel and simply love the way the wheels fill the wells now. off to Nissan to get new lockers. i bought the car a week ago yesterday and it has 320 miles on it, so im hoping to not get any ******** from them. ill post pics if anyone would like to see.

Those are the incorrect locks, those are designed for a 350Z. Get the correct ones from the dealer or from Infiniti, and make them give them to you for free. It broke off because the studs on the 370Z are longer than the 350Z, hence the lug bottoms out and the top of the stud puts pressure against the top eventually breaking it off.

Here is a thread on the issue.
Broken wheel stud and lug nut.

Valid part numbers:
999W2-Z3409
999W2-JT000

The correct part will have a flat washer base like the regular lugs.

i went in and they ordered them w/o asking any questions. that was a few hours ago before i knew this lil update. im gonna mention this when i pick them up on Wednesday and see what they say. kinda curious now.

i really doubt anything would have come from this anytime soon, but im glad i found this early. pretty much crap..

At least yours broke such that you were able to get it off easily. Mine broke with the bottom half still torqued down, had to use a special removal tool to get it off. My dealer claimed ignorance since it was a trade from another dealer.

no kidding! i know it could have been a lot worse. i went into and read the thread link about this issue above, and made another little more detailed post. kinda curious now that im a little more informed as to what lugs were ordered. i think locking lugs are kinda dumb on stock wheels anyway. at least where i live. im sure the second i take them off and go with normal lugs all around id pay for it. im honestly more worried about the wheels and more so tires on my truck. around here, people would much rather steal the 2 grand worth of 37" rubber then a set of stock (but nice) nissan wheels.

Thanks! only one week into ownership and i cant be happier with the mods ive done so far. this one is so far my fav. thinking about going with a slight drop.. maybe an eibach pro kit or something, but i really dont want to mess with camber. at all. not even a bit. Once i get this lug issue figured out, ill be able to enjoy it a lil more ha.
