I used the Purolator C35479 and it fit fine. The tabs on the plastic door held the filter up and flat so that it was not directly contacting the fan housing, but still filtering all of the passing air.
Someone asked whether the air filter would interfere with doors / panels inside the housing. I checked by turning on the car, and switching from outside air to recirculating air. The Purolator C35479 does not interfere with the operation of the venting in any way. Kevin |
