Hella Sharptone horns with relay

Anyone have a how to for these horns and relay? Thanks

can you wire one side of relay to the battery, other side (trigger) of relay to the old horn circuit.
trying to think of what else you would need to know/do

EDIT: I guess you should check amperage draw of the horn(s) and make sure your battery circuit can handle it. Then choose an appropriate inline fuse for the max amperage of your circuit, place it as close to the battery on the circuit as possible (positive side).

if you use OFC cable you can use smaller gauge wiring

EDIT2: can't help with mounting location sorry

Finally got around to messing with these horns. Supposedly yhe stick horns are already on a relay so plugged in the signal wires to the right spade of you're looking at the back of the hella horn and black ground wire to the left spade. Annnnd they barley put out noise worse than stock. So guessing they need the relay wired to battery but can't seem to find a definitive on how to wire the relay..m it's either pin 85 is+ 86- or vise versa. Depends on if steering wheel horn switch is connected negatively or positively.

Never mind seems that the yellow horn wire is the sugnal not the green....
Anyone have experience rience wiring in horns with relay? I can't seem to get them to work. 30 pin is direct power from battery for now all I have is a 7.5amp fuse not blown, 87 is + on horns if both horn terminals are on top of horn this is the left pin from what I can tell. 86 green wire going to stock horn. 85 grounded tried the stock black wire and also running separate grounds for horns/ relay attached to right pin of the horn connectoins are on top of that makes sense.

Seems unnecessarily complicated. The horn signal passes through a relay for each of the stock horns. Each Hella horn has two terminals. I don't think the polarity matters. Ground one terminal and connect the other terminal to the stock horn wire. Does this not work?

Thats what I thought but whatever, possible the green wire for that horn is cut or something since they were relocated at one point should have been a much shorter less frustrating job.

Disconnect the green wire from the aftermarket relay. When you put a DMM on the green wire and press the horn, do you see 12V+?

Its already done, green wire just didnt work. After testing the yellow wire to the other horn I just ran an extension to the relay problem solved they work now.
