Please forgive me if this has been answered but I couldn't find this any the help or diy section. As the title mentions I have successfully installed a new Aeremotive 340 pump in my car and I have the deatschwerks fuel pump hard wire kit. The instructions and videos available on the web are mostly horrendous. I understand that the kit has a yellow wire that will be connect to the positive lead of the "pump side" and has a blue wire that will connect to the positive lead on the "harness side". the red and black are self explanatory with power to the battery and a ground.
My question is this, Is this 12 guage wiring supposed to connect directly to the positive wire coming from the pump...like through the tophat of the fuel pump!!!? So many questions if so lol, and if not, if I can connect the yellow wire to the positive lead on the harness that connects to the tophat where is the blue wire suppose to connect to the positive lead on the "harness side"? Thanks in advance, Adrian |
