THE BULL Base Member Join Date: Apr 2021 Location: Florida Posts: 217 Drives: G37S Rep Power: 26848	I created a thread on MyG37 about this, specifically on the rear timing cover, How to inspect your cam tensioner shoes (VQ35DE shoes are a direct fit at 1/4 of the price) As well as removing the burnt oil from the internals. After further research, newer superceeded gaskets were the way to go for me. Newer gaskets are no longer the paper ones utilized in older models.
