Issues after installing a new battery

I replaced the battery in my '14 Touring/sport/tech Z this afternoon. Thanks to posts on this forum it was easy to remove the parts that were necessary to get access to the battery. Also, from reading the posts, I knew about the window reset. However, I have additional issues. I lost the garage door signal on Homelink, the clock was reset to 1:00 and a few other things were rest, such as trip odometer, HVAC and all of the maint. stuff on the display on the left-hsnd side of the steering wheel. No problem to set all this stuff but when I turn the car off, all of these things lose their settings again. Also, the needles on the guages are not lighting up. Any ideas?

Check your fuses. Looks like you lost a +12V constant circuit somewhere.

As per Jayhovah, it sounds like you have lost "standby" power.

A visual check of fuses can be misleading. Use a VOM.

Edit: And there is a shipping/storage switch in one of the fuse blocks you might want to check.

Make sure the connections at the battery terminals are good.

It sounds look like something came loose.

Thanks for your responses. It turned out that the fuse that is built into the extended storage switch was blown. I removed the switch and replaced it with a 10 fuse (per the owners manual) and all is good. Thanks again for your quick responses. I probably would have eventually started checking the fuses but I was on a wild goose chase trying to find some other "thing" that needed to be reset like the power windows.
