Double din wiring

Installing a kenwood ddx373bt, i have the metra 70-7553 wiring harness. The wires are all color matched to the ones on the radio I haven't soldered them yet just twisted together to make sure everything works. when I pop the start button back on and turn the car on the head unit does not come on. Do I need to connect the ground wires together or ground them to the chasis? I read with this harness I don't need to do that Or am I forgetting a part.

Also the light green parking wire has a connector on the end but I don't see where it connects.

* there's a million posts on how to install the radio but none on the actual wiring( which is the hard part) unless i just can't find them

If I remember correctly the pins on the 70-7553 metra have to be switched around. You need to look at the service manual

They match up so idk why it's not turning on.. there's also 3 other harness plugs that don't plug into anything now. Think I'm just gonna take it to the shop

Check your fuses just to make sure it's not blown. Ground wires together and connected to ground wire that is connected to chassis

The ground wire was the problem. Idk where the ground wire that's connected to the chasis is at? I was just putting the ground wire from the head unit to the frame
