The pump comes out of the plastic housing.

You will need a couple of more items besides just a pump. You will have to cut the hose from the old pump and it will need to be replaced.

CJM Fuel Pump Install Kit, 370z | CJ Motorsports

Charles has great products and is a great forum supporter. He also has super detailed instructions on how to use his products. I should know, I have bought a bunch.

One other thing, I found it MUCH easier to remove the fuel pump by taking the passenger seat out first.

I need just the rubber/foam bottom sleeve for an aftermarket OE flow pump. Does anyone know where I can source one and the O.D. size needed to fit in the OE module bore? Thanks for any help you can lend!

any suggestions on a good aftermarket fuel pump? Not sure it matters, but I have a 2015 Nismo 6MT.

For what? For NA use (not running E85), an aftermarket pump is a waste. I'm pretty sure that a Walbro 255 would work just fine, but there's nothing to be gained by upgrading. For FI use, it all depends on the rest of the fuel setup - injectors, rails, return, etc.

Just curious, as I'd started receiving the P1233 code after a WOT run. This all began after recently installing Stillen Gen 3 Intakes (FI CBE about 3 weeks earlier).

I'm hoping that the issue is simply with the ECU not knowing how to handle the additional airflow. Time will tell as I go through tuning with Specialty Z in the coming weeks.

My initial curiosity about fuel pumps was due to looking up the P1233 code from Torque. It pointed towards either the fuel lines or the fuel pump. However, further research revealed that the Torque "suggestion" to that error code was for Ford vehicles.

thanks for the reply!

Thanks!

I've also found info here - https://www.autocodes.com/p1233_nissan.html

Sebastian should be able to help me reset things while tuning.
