Mine has up issues. If you dont hold the button the whole time and feather it like to make sure youre making contact and all that, the system will lock out. You either 100% commit to the lift or it jams.

That kind of sounds like bleeding issues.
Is it jumpy at all on the way up?

It might be in the hose.
Remember, there’s still fluid in the lines.
I’ve had a few times where I’ve had to push pretty hard, but finally got connected.
I'm pretty sure it's not the hoses. I was able to attach them to the lift rails with no problem.

What could be causing this problem on the down function? I'm thinking a failed solenoid valve but that's just a guess. Are there fuses to check? Thanks in advance.

Working perfectly! Not a single issue.

One thing that I have learned is to hold the down button for about ten seconds AFTER the car has been lowered. This allows the pressure in the hoses to fully bleed off and it makes the hoses easier to remove and install. The quick couplers will hold pressure in the lines if you don't bleed them off and they can be a bear to install.

Been looking into this, my Z is lowered on swift springs and I have the evo r sides. What is the height of these ramps when flat? I want to measure the side gear ancestry to see if I'd be able to slide it in sideways under my car.

It depends on what model you are looking at getting.
Take a look at their measuring guide. It helped me. Also, feel free to call them. They were helpful over the phone too.
https://www.quickjack.com/quickjack-...ing-guide.html
I purchased the 7000-SLX and it works great for me. I also got the pinch weld blocks. I am at stock height.
They say you need a little clearance so that it can gain momentum to lift. I have an inch or two of clearance and mine lifts perfect.
This is right off of that page. "Keep in mind that there must be some space between QuickJack and your vehicle’s lifting points. If a collapsed QuickJack is pressed flush against your car, it will be unable to generate enough force to lift the vehicle."

Hope this helps..

Thanks for the advice! Costco in Canada has the Quickjack BL-5000SLX for a good price, so I'll look into those specs and clearance requirements.

Good thing with Costco, you can return items if they don't work for you. At least in Washington state that's their policy.

My 5000SLX came today. Didn't take too long to set up. Seems like it's going to be pretty nice.
