Glad to hear that the harness is already there, this is a must have if you have a base

Does anyone know if the paddles in the Z are the same in an Altima or Maxima? Are they the same through the years?

They look different. (at least the ones I saw) they don't have the leather edges. but the infiniti ones looks identical.

Paddle shifter will, shroud won't. I found the oem shifters cheaper on nissan part dealer websites. Its was around 280 for shifters, shroud and caps are about 55. Use the part numbers I listed with the video to search.

May I suggest painting your Z paddles black for a stealth look

Thanks I just wish Nissan posted pics of the product and not just a generic blueprint for the shroud

Where did you order these from? Did the part number change?

Thanks,

Calm down dude

Discontinued = not worth ordering from japan for them.

This is where I bought mine from:

LOWER CLMN COVER HOLE COVER | Genuine Nissan | 48487-1EA0A

LOWER CLMN COVER HOLE COVER | Genuine Nissan | 48486-1EA0A
Wanted to share this PM for others who may face same issues with ordering parts.

Heads up folks! Dealers all over the US are out of those part #'s. They are backordered and from what I've been told its about a 1-2 month wait. I guess all base A7 owners are using Marrawi's DIY. His DIY is dead on!! There is no way around it, you will damage them.
I ended up ordering mine from this Japanese seller jp-carparts.com based in Kyoto, Japan. Price was just about what we would pay here and that includes shipping.

Hi to all,
I finally got all the parts needed to do my install, I got the paddles separately and they do not have the install screws. What size screws do I need for the paddles and how many?

I actually don't have the exact sizes, but you'll need two screws and two nuts. The nuts were European thread which you can find at home depot. The way I did it is I bought a bunch of sizes and did trial and error. It'd be great help if you could share sizes when you get them. Good luck.
