Spark Plug Replacement 2009

I am due for some new plugs on my 09. Looked all thru the DIY forums for a spark plug change and could not locate one. Has anyone swapped the plugs on their Z? If so can you provide some details/pics? Also, what plugs did you you as a replacement? What are the OEMs? Thanking you in advance.

Get the TB gaskets, should be cheap.
Remove the air box tubes and TB's just get moved a little you can leave the lines and wires to them. by doing that you should be able to get to all of the plugs, you will need a 14mm deep spark plug socket. or a regular deep 14mm socket and some fuel line.

Oh and take off the engine cover first.

I recommend this socket. Strong magnet and good quality.

Don't over torque the new plugs :)

pull all surrounding plastic.

Remove strut brace, engine covers

remove air lines from plenum, unbolt plenum, unbolt air intakes

Move plenum out of the way undo coil packs then spark plugs.

Put back together.

Should take an hour

you dont need gaskets
