Which clear coat product is good for the headlights?

My headlights are staring to get that yellow haze.. I'm planning on restoring them but I'm not sure what to use as a clear coat to prevent the lights from

My headlights are staring to get that yellow haze.. I'm planning on restoring them but I'm not sure what to use as a clear coat to prevent the lights from getting bad in the future..

Any help is appreciated!

Yes. My suggestion is to restore yourself and then drive it to a colission center and have them apply 2 coats of the clear they use. Many use ppg. See how much you save on labor, the coat and the hassle of doing it yourself. Cheap way is duplicolor 2 stage coat or something similar but will still need to wet sand with 2000 grit.

I would recommend that once you get them restored you get the same material used on the clear bra and cover them. It will protect the finish and keep it from turning yellow. Just a thought...the material on mine is 3M
I had my headlights covered over a year ago and they still look perfect in Florida weather.

If you are near Pembroke Pines, I had my headlights and clear bra done at Hi Line Styling
