one slow leaking rear SS brake line help

Guys,

Had my car at dealer yesterday for a broken glove box in warranty. But they found a leak on one of the after market stainless steel brake lines. They would not even offer to do an 1/8 -1/4 turn of the fitting. Just $400 to put stock back on.

I bought chinese wrenches for the job but they were poor. Not sure if I should snap on or matco to torque slighly more. They have been on 6 months and about 2k miles. I am asking if I can get one replacement from the aftermarket company in case can't be stopped/tightened.

Any suggestions for what to do?

I did not look yet to see which fitting is leaking. One it has been terrible cold here then back to 30 to 50s. maybe that break it free slightly.

First, be sure you are using flare wrenches. I would find the leak and try tightening first. If have sports model and bought the SS lines with replacement banjo bolts, I'm going to guess one of those is your problem. I bought the non-premium SS kit that doesn't have any banjo bolts to limit potential leaks per Z1's recommendation.
