how to remove someones door paint off my car?
Howdy, I have a 14 magnetic black 370z. Someone with a white car opened their door to my drivers side and left the scene i guess. So my question is, the area is very small, maybe 1/4 of a toothpicks length and about 2 toothpicks width of white paint on my clear coat.
Is there a way for me to take it off without having to take it to a pro detail or me detailing it by using a high speed buffer? No dent luckily |

Probably going to require a buffer. Post pics of the damage and maybe some of the experts will have a better solution.

I've found that Maguier's Scratch X works pretty well in removing surface scratches.

Clay bar and detail spray is the safest bet before you try any of these others. Made to use on painted surfaces and shouldn't leave swirl marks.

Clay bar sounds like a good idea. Not sure how well it will pick up paint though. I'll give it a try because I still need to claybar the whole car. It's been raining the passed few weeks, so I am waiting for that to pass. Any more suggestions are welcomed

I would use some Stay Fresh Light Clay and Clay Lube.

Holy crap! that paint scuff looks like a guy crouching holding a camera! Seriously, though, a little compound applied by hand will probably do the trick. It appears "someone" wiped it with a finger when it was dirty, and it will be scratched and need a good polish anyhoo.

Get some compound from a real detailing source (do not go to pep boys or some other ghetto name nonsense) and rub with a clean micro fiber cloth. This is also a good way to get cone marks off your car. Clay will likely not work, you need something with micro abrasives to remove the paint.

Turpentine and a rag bro. Be sure to re wax the area when done. Gasoline works wonders too. These are old school methods for you young ones so don't flame me. Lol
