I've been noticing a fair amount of brake dust on my nice new 19" Rays rims. Just a swipe with my finger, and it's quite a black mess. Even after just a few drives, it's got a coating starting up again. So my question is, would waxing the wheels help and if so, what are you guys using as a product you like? Next question is, the articles I've read about wheel wax, it will come off if you clean your wheels, so is there really a point in doing it in the first place? What kind of wheel soap do you guys like to use? I have a separate bucket and grit guard I use just for the wheels.
