HA, yeah I didn't think this actually posted. Its very much so incomplete.
I have a rub/wear mark on my steering wheel. It isn’t through the leather, but definitely has some surface damage. It’s becoming very noticeable. I think the clip from my pocket knife may hit it every now and then. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psb190699d.jpg |

Buy an aftermarket wheel... or get it recovered, take the knife out of your pocket... also nissan installed a little lever under the steering wheel that allows you to tilt the wheel up and down... I would start using it when your getting in and out of your car....

Eat less doughnuts and exercise ????

Some type of black dye will probably make it less noticeable but I wouldn't call it a fix.
Subbed to see if anybody comes up with a good solution. |
Im 5'6" and 147lbs... donuts aren't the issue. I did relocate the knife when I noticed it, but it seems to be getting larger now that it started.
I may opt for the zebra print cover though, sexy stuff. Ill prob try out some dye and see what happens, if it looks like crap I think Ill look into getting a replacement. |
I got a solution for you. Look up Gliptone products, they also sell dyes. These are world class products for leather care. Been using them since the late 90s. Also a lot of my fellow car heads back home used it with great results.
