What does everyone recommend for cleaning windows?
I mean the interior-side. I'm looking for something that cleans the windows, along with getting rid of that 'fogginess' that happens when the sun hits the windshield at just the right angle.
I bought some Rain-X Interior Anti-Fog Glass Cleaner Wipes, but quickly found out that they are just terrible. I think they may have left the windows dirtier than when I started! I've heard that Windex tends to leave the windows 'foggy' when the sun is at a low angle (dawn or dusk). What do you guys recommend?

Same here. Wet mf running on a weave pattern 4x followed by a drying mf towel weave pattern. Same technique on the interior but diff set of mf towels. I also used chemical guys polisher and jet seal 3 mos ago.

I also just normally use detail spray and a microfiber. I bought these "glass specialty" microfibers from DD and haven't got around to using them yet, heard they are great.

I use a mixture of water and a tablespoon or so of methyl hydrate in a squirt bottle and a microfiber cloth.
This mixture was recommended to me by a professional detailer and it does not leave a chemical build-up on the glass. It works like a hot damn! I have never had cleaner windows and I have never used anything on ANY window since.

For the inside, plain ol' water usually works well since you don't need to remove bugs, road grime, &c. If you use a cleaner (Windex, et al), be careful not to get it on the dash or other plastic parts.
The trick is to get rid of all the water/cleaner before it dries - use sparingly and wipe with a microfiber cloth (or similar) until gone.

I just use normal Rainx glass cleaner on both sides of the window. For the inside, I spray liberally onto microfiber towel, wipe down, and then I buff dry with a separate clean towel.
The only residue that I notice is if I did a terrible job at cleaning or after a few weeks or no washing. |

I use Meguiar's Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner and a dedicated Microfiber window cleaning towel from here. The Cobra Waffle Weave Microfiber Glass Towel cleans & buffs glass to crystal clarity with the soft texture of genuine Cobra microfiber.
This stuff is amazing and is 100% streak-free. It also has watering sheering abilities. Any rain which hits your windshield will bead its way up the glass. Not to mention, it smells great and is relatively inexpensive.

What I find works best is a old peice of newpaper with plain water... for with micro fiber, no streaks or fogging, and the paper leave the glass really nice.
