5 Star Shine. anyone ever hear of or use this stuff?

I've never been much of a detail guy so I don't have much experience with waxes, polishes & paint sealants, but it sounds like a good idea.

What are your thoughts?

It's a marketing tool (see-lying for profit). Absolute BS. No doubt whatsoever.

Actually it is not false, well not sure about what you posted. I use 22ple on my customers cars which lasts 2 year. I use it on my personal car as well. Opti-coat as far as we can tell lasts forever. I've talked to people that have had it on their car for 5+ years easily. The only downside with opti coat is IMO doesn't produce the same shine and depth as 22ple does.

i wouldnt trust it. all the products they sell on their site are bottom of the barrel things you find on your dads shelf in his garage from 15 years ago.

Sounded like the "car wax" stuff they try to sell you at gas stations. I almost had to beat one of those guys down when he tried to spray some **** on my clean car.

bigaudiofanat, That 22ple sounds really good. You ever use it on a Pearl white? What would you recommend?

Yes I have used 22ple on white cars before. Just make sure after you do your polishing that you either IPA wipe down or other cleaner to remove all oils left over.
