You could drop by a local body shop and just ask what they'd charge to fix the dent/buff it out for you. They definitely have experience on their side so they might do a better job. I've had a couple minor dings fixed myself for a pretty cheap price. Depends on the body shop I guess.

Ok so I gave it some lube and.it came out yay! Now the damn bulge

Bulge? what bulge? Either way if it bothers you that much some body shops can heat it up and get it tighter without much effort. Or take your hairdryer outside and try it yourself!
