Wet windows
 

So since I have owned my car I have had this unusual problem. Any time I wash my car or it rains and my whole car gets wet, after it dries the driver and passanger window weather strips stay wet for almost a day after the fact. Which in turn makes my windows wet again when i roll them down or up. Which also causes water spots and looks horrible. Obviously them being wet for a couple hours isnt unusual but its that they are wet for up to a day afterwards is actually pretty annoying. Does anyone else have this problem and if they do what do they do to rectify this unusual problem?

Either park your car in the sun so it dries out, or keep rolling them up and down after your car wash and wipe it off to take the water away

I've had that happen when I wash the car and it's in the 40s-50s. Usually in the summer, after I wipre the door jams down I'll close the door and do a final wipe of the window and let the sun do it's job. Normally dried out by the next morning.

lol this happens to all of us friend. It's just a weather strip design thing. For me, I just hit the highway for a few exits and return home to give the front end a wipe down.

When I don't have time to make a highway quick trip, I just keep a microfiber towel in the car behind the passenger seat. Wiping down the windows when I get out doesn't annoy me, but I don't know how others would feel...:rolleyes:

Just one of the quirks of the car. If you figure out how to prevent it, let us know.

Wow I thought that was just me. Drives me crazy lol but considering that my only problem with the Z. I'm ok with it.

using a leaf blower helps but it doesnt get it all . roll it down then up wipe it down and repeat a few times usually works :tup:

I just clean the windows once I know the water inside the door panel and weather strips has dried. Sometimes it's the next day; other times it takes a few days (depending on the humidity).
