OK, I have no luck with trying to keep my Z, without funny little spots. Saw these 4 spots on the car fender, will not come off with polishing/rubbing compound.

something on the fender
OK,
I have no luck with trying to keep my Z, without funny little spots. Saw these 4 spots on the car fender, will not come off with polishing/rubbing compound. I think its paint and where did I get paint, I have no clue... well maybe, but not sure... So I would appreciate any hints on this..... |

To me that looks like paint. A couple ways to knock that out. One is to clay it off.
By using Adam's Claybar and Adam's Detail Spray as a lubricant, typical overspray and even a bit larger globs of paint can go away. Adam's Polishes Vol. 8 - Chapter 22 - Claying and Prep - YouTube

The only thing I am keeping from you guys, I think it was at the dealership, but I cannot prove or verify that.... they took the car to re-buff something out and I did not walk all around the car..... Bad part, is I leave to go back to dayton and I am suppose to get a clear bra on the car, the covers the hood and fenders.... home they can get it out....
Thanks for the tip Mook@Adams |

Is it hard like automotive paint or soft like latex paint.
If it's soft, I'd try picking at it with my fingernail. If you're lucky it'll pop off. You can polish out your finger nail marks afterward. Can try alcohol as a solvent and see if it desolves. If so, your lucky. Mineral spirits may work too but I have no idea if the paint can hold up to it. Anthing stronger will probably start melting your paint. Clay bar might work but I bet you're going to see some polish marks around the spots because you're going to need to go at it for a very long time. Could try a razor blade, but you're going to leave some marks for sure if you try this. Last... You could just put a dab of touchup paint over it to hide them. May as well try some of the above if you're going to end up doing this anyway. Those are my ideas... Good Luck.
