Using Marine wax on a car?
I have a 2009 Magnetic Black. I was using some detail spray to shine it up when my mail carrier came by and told me I should try using Marine wax . He said he uses on his car and the shine is unbelievable . He also said one applicatioin would llast a whole year because it has Teflon and some other ingredients in it that prevent the salt water from affecting the paint on boats.
Anyone ever try this on a car? |

I did google but wanted to see if anyone in here had used it on a 370Z

No reason to use marine wax and the teflon in any wax is a gimmick to make you think things will just slide off. Teflon needs to be bonded to surfaces at over 600 degrees.

So many great automotive wax choices out there that there isn't really a good reason to even attempt using this stuff on your car. A high quality synthetic wax will last you 6-8 months at most...3-4 months for natural carnauba. Carnauba has the best depth though.
