My rims have stains on them... HELP
 

My nismo seems to have stains on the rims from what looks like old break dust, i've tried : dish washing soap, stainless steel polish/cleaner, simple green, some stuff that will take paint off concrete, and Muthers rim/tire cleaner all to no avail. :shakes head:

You guys have any ideas? I thought about putting a little gas on a rough cloth and rubbing on a small spot to see what happens. I've rubbed with towels and cleaning brushes.

Sounds like they have not been being cleaned on a regular basis I would stay away from the harsh chemicals as they might do more harm than good.

Have you tried a steamer? I've found that many times my steamer will take care of stains that chemicals won't/can't touch. Good luck!

I use this stuff called "Iron cut" that I got from detailers domain and it works wonders. Just try not to breathe in the fumes it creates.
