Bee Poop? Help removing..

I would really give Aquartz a shot. Polishing isn't going to fix it. Can you post a picture?

Really? i would have though polishing would get it off. Im almost positive its bee poop... I doubt i would be able to take a picture. The only way you can see it is on a certain angle with the right light. Pretty anal really but it bothers me...

I bought a compounding pad and a polishing pad for my D.A. along with Meguires 105 and 205 polishes. If these dont fix the issue, i give up lol

I got one on my car today - little poop looks like a small string. When I removed it with the use of a detailer spray, a yellow stain was left behind. I got out the Ol' McGuire's Cleaner wax and buffed and buffed to no avail - I am insanely anal as well and that is just p**ing me off - it's pretty hard to see but I know it's there, and on a Brilliant Silver Metallic it shows if you know what you are looking for and where... I'm going to keep monitoring this thread see if anyone has any luck with whatever compound that might be out there... Jeez...

not sure if you want to be spreading the bee poop all around the paint, pelican...(?) it's nasty stuff.

i would use a short strand MF towel (or foam pad) and spot polish to remove the bee poop. then take your pad and polish the entire panel.

I would leave it alone if 105/205 doesn't remove it. If it's anything like bird droppings, it's probably acidic and deep in the clear.

I doubt he will be spreading it around. I got mine off as soon as I could with a microfiber and spray polish. It left behind a yellow stain which is what Pelican is trying to buff out. If he had a good coat of wax already on the car he may have success. But if it was sitting directly on top of the clear I fear for the worst that it stained deep into the clear and is permanent.

I thought the same regarding the wax - My car has a good two layers of McGuires Carnuba wax on it... the yellow stain is very faint, but there. Whatever this Bee Poop is, its like from the movie Alien - I keep looking around to see if Sigourny Weaver is gonna pop up in my garage ... Hopefully in her white undershirt and panties...

Got the EXACT same problem. It's from bees or insects. You need to carry detail spray and remove the stuff ASAP whenever you find it. It's worse on light colored cars. If anyone has a fix please post it here so I can get the #$%&@!! spot off my hood.

I had this issue too and couldn't for the life of me figure out what it really was. Little smeary yellow dots that are a bastard to get off with detail spray. I arrived at the conclusion that it was either tree sap or tree pollen.

I've had this problem as well on my brilliant silver. I do believe that over time (1-2 weeks) the stain will dissipate and eventually disappear. I had a couple on my hood when I first got the car that eventually went away.

I just recently got a couple more, and will keep my eye on them.

Have any of you with this issue noticed the spots disappearing over time?
