I've had this problem as well on my brilliant silver. I do believe that over time (1-2 weeks) the stain will dissipate and eventually disappear. I had a couple on my hood when I first got the car that eventually went away.

I just recently got a couple more, and will keep my eye on them.

Have any of you with this issue noticed the spots disappearing over time?

Yes, they do seem to go away with time. When I first noticed them, i tried everything and couldnt get it off.. After a while, its just gone...
