New white or black (blue) exterior protection
 

I don't yet own a Z but I'm debating between three. I'm looking at white, black or blue and wondered if there is a significant difference in exterior maintenance. I see black can be hard as everything shows up, but white can fade and blue is my 3rd choice. Avoiding rock chips is my biggest concern.

Do things like Opti-Coat or 3M clear bra (total body) help? One dealership mentioned they can put on something that Boeing uses on airplane wings. The other said they use Cal-Tex Resist All. I found their site here and it doesn't seem to do much, Product Features - Cal-tex Protective Coatings

I'm looking for what product will protect against stone chips and which color, if any, is somewhat forgiving to maintain. Hope to be purchasing a car in a week or two.
