Sorry to hear that man. But birds love to pick on black cars compare to others. It's almost like GPS guided. My friends liked to park their cars next to mine to avoid bird sh*t when I had a black car...

How true! My fiancee' has a black Hyundai and every morning there's a new patch of bird "relief". My Chicane Yellow 370Z also has a wildlife problem. Bugs....especially Bees are very attracted to it. Maybe we should start a new poll...what kinds of wildlife are attracted to what color Z?....hmmmmm! A good polish and then wax should take care of it. Good luck!

Yellow would probably attract bugs, just because of the color.

So funny, my old HS friend had a Celica which he bought green, and had it painted yellow. And shortly after, he had more insect incidents than anyone we'd ever known. He even asked the painter and they said it might be the scent, but I always thought it was the color.

Now we know.

Turtle Wax makes a detailer exclusively for black cars. I use it almost everyday on my Magnetic Black because of bird droppings, pollen, bug guts, pine needles, grass clippings, leaves, tar, dirt, and rain and every f--king thing else that gets on my Z on a daily basis. The detailer is actually a black liquid and its supposed to help fill in tiny scratches etc.

Was it anything like this? I went to the self car wash after this happened while parked downtown for 90 minutes.

I've tried that stuff and it works okay for about a week.. then you'll notice the scratches again. It's messy and does more damage than fixing the problem. Wash, clay, machine polish & a quality wax. I used the stuff from Adams to polish, but I'm getting results easier with the Meg's m105&m205 which polishes out bird crap pretty well on my Mag Black Z.
