Adam's Basic Porter Cable 7424 XP Polisher Kit

That's not coming out by hand, but I'll bet a PC, especially with the 4 inch focus pads, will get it out.

A bit more expensive than what I had in mind but if that's what it takes to maintain the paint .. I'll go for it. Thanks

you have a dark color car which means you will have to maintain it to prevent this from being everywhere. AK did a great thread on how to maintain the car. like suggested above adams polishes are said to be good or my personal preference is Zaino. the ZPC Will take that out but i would follow AK's thread to really make your car shine. Here is the link. Detailing: Frequently Asked Questions, Useful Facts,Tips-Tricks, How to Articles etc

You could try using just the Adam's 4 inch focus pad kit with their three associated polishes. That item is chuckable into your cordless drill.

Adam's FOCUS 4" Polishing Pad Kit

But you have a lot of other scratching and swirling and you would be amazed at the results of paint correcting the whole car with the Porter Cable.

Buying a dual action polisher is an investment that will pay for itself the first time you use it. I love my porter cable.

You could polish that by hand since it doesn't look too deep and it's a relatively small area, but using a machine will be easier and faster. I would try using the Dual Action Polisher (Porter Cable) before going with a 4" focus pad attached to a drill if you don't have any experience repairing paint. The focus pad on a drill is basically a rotary polisher and as such could burn the paint if used it incorrectly. Attaching it to the DA polisher or using the larger pad with the DA polisher will give you the results you want with minimal risk. Watch the videos from Adam's or Junkman.

....and next time, use warm water and a soft microfiber towel to take the bird crap off. The ones they sell at walmart and auto stores are terrible. Check out the Adam's site or Detailers Domain.
