Detailer's Domain: Audi S4 - Paint Correction

Nice job! Would you say Iron Cut is a must on a black car? I feel like it makes a bigger difference on lighter colors but I could be wrong.

Nice job!

Would you say Iron Cut is a must on a black car? I feel like it makes a bigger difference on lighter colors but I could be wrong. How necessary do you think it is? Any other options besides the one you suggested? That bottle is like $18...

nothing is a must. its what you want to get out of your car and how much you want to ease up the process.

its not a bad idea to do this once in awhile.

its a good way to ease up the claying process.

hey nice thread and great results.

Quick question... Got a black 370 with opticoat paint protection. Is it right to use a filling polish to get rid of any swirls? If so or if not what do you recommend as I dont want to use a cut and take the coating off.

you can use a glaze but any polish will cut the opticoat down a bit.
