Default How can I get rid of these marks? *PICS*

I bought the car used with some marks existing on it. I want to remove them carefully without having to hire a detailer. I was quoted $60 to remove these marks but I think I can do it myself if I get some expert advice from you guys.

Looks like a burnt spot:

I got a good deal on the car so I went for it. Please advise if I should take it into the body shop or if this is something I could get out with various products.

Thanks

Default Good Deal!

I think $60 to get a professional make-over on all those scuffs is a bargain. I would jump at it

$60 for a detailer to do it is a bargain.. especially after the money you saved buying that one right? Buying the necessary kit(s)/polish.. you're probably looking at $40 anyway.. so I wouldn't risk messing with it myself (esp if you have no experience) and making it worse

nice sandals btw

For $60, I'd have a pro do it. No questions asked.

Man id go for it for $60. To get 3 scratchs in the clearcoat taken out was $95 (made by the tinter so he paid for it). You'll need wet sanding and cuting and polishing and touch up paint so itll be a bargan for 60.
