Should I or should I not....

I was planning to wax my car. I'm a total noob at it. I got the synthetic spray on turtle wax. I'm not sure if this still is good. Some reviews says its okay. And some says it's crap. Any opinions?

Everything you need to know... Do a search for the "Junkman Videos" Junkman's, How To Restore Your Finish - The Videos - Adam's Polishes Forums.

Good luck and have fun!

If you want to wax your car yourself try nu finish. It's pretty easy and pretty hard to screw up. All you need to do is just apply a coat to the panel then wait 10 mins and wipe off the haze. It works pretty well.

id say turtle stuff is junk. heard some bad things about some of their products.

waxing is easy, but you really should do all the other steps before hand.

Actually by using the wrong towel/product it is very easy to induce swirls into your paint while waxing.

I agree about, ditch the turtle wax and go with something higher up even mothers. I use adams and griots.

Use a soft towel for removing product. NOT THE ONES YOU GET AT AUTO ZONE!!!!

Buy good quality ones.

Okay. I guess I'll return the turtle wax spray and get Mothers. I'm wondering. When apply the wax by hand. What do I use to apply to not have micro scratches. My Nissan dealer did a good job of scratching my black pillars when I first picked up the car.

Adam's and Griot's Garage stuff is good. Choose from one of these. I personally use Adam's Car Care products.
