Storage time

I am going to detail the car and have it really clean before putting the cover on and it will be in the garage covered. So do I clay bar/PC before/after storage or both?

:iagree: as long as not water spots remain to try to stain it you should be fine (wish i had a beater car)

If your car needs it "baggie test and if the surface feels rough after washing" than yes clay bar if not your wasting your time.

im just going to do a quick spray wax (my car is always clean) before i wrap her up in her new car cover. the slick surface will help prevent any hazing when i cover/uncover from time to time to check on her.

when Spring comes around i will just do a quick QD and off she goes. :p

Think I will just end up doing a good detail, it will be garaged and covered so it will be safe from everything...

except for potential mice that might eat your plug wires and under carriage plastic bits made out of soy. :icon17:

i would uncover the car a few times during the months to verify..
