Pitted Windshield

soooo..... my windshield looks to be pitted from hwy driving. There are 100s of smalll pits. I think theyre pits since theyre reflective. This doesnt bother me unless the sun

There are 100s of smalll pits. I think theyre pits since theyre reflective. This doesnt bother me unless the sun is glaring through the windshield. Which is usually on the way to and from work! Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a fix for this? I want to get the Adams glass polish and cleaner but not before i fix this issue.
