Default Z Emblem catching on cloth

So I searched around on this forum and couldn't find anything related to my problem. Everytime I wash my car, I'm having the problem of the 'Z' letter on the emblem catching on the fibers of towels I use. It's the pointy part on the left and the right...its very annoying, and it will rip fuzz/fiber off towels I'm using to either wash or dry with, and then its a pain to pull it out of the emblem.

It then looks like a fuzzy emblem :-( Anyone else running into this problem? Maybe my emblem is lifting from the car? I've learned to avoid getting close when I get to the area, but its really annoying either way.

I've had the same problem with my wash mitt, it snags on the nylon.

LMAO with all the oil temp, blown trans, block replacement threads it is nice to see someone who is aggrevated by a more modest issue.

When I go over that spot, I cover the emblem with my hand.

What I do is wash and wipe dry the section dry using the up and down motion rather than side to side. This way it won't get caught in the sharp Z endpoints.

I removed my 370z logo. I don't care if people think its a 350z. I bought it for me and nobody else. The reason why i removed it was it slowed me down when washing and drying. It can rip up soft towels.

When buffing on the car, I tape my emblems up with painter's tape for this very reason. Kills the problem. But when drying, I use the Air Force Master Blaster. That kills the problem you're having too.
