Uber Microfiber towels, are they good?

Basically i want to know if people use these? I have a few adams towels which are great, but I could use a less expensive alternative.

just go to pep boys... i think some detailing stores sell rebranded MF towels from pepboys too...

no thanks. From my past experiences the towels at autoparts stores scratch the hell out of your car, especially Nissans soft paint

some of the ones I've bought at local stores even "bleed" the color that the towels are dyed. Would also like to know a cheaper alternative - so I could actually throw them out more often!!

How often do you need to buy towels? I bought the softest 100% cotton zanio towels that have lasted years. I have a drying Microfiber towel that I've been using for 6 years. Towels should last for years. In my opinion zanio and Adams products are overpriced. I began with zanio and moved away from their products. The towel is worth it because I haven't been able to find a cotton towel that is so soft.

I use both the uber no name blue and green towels. I prefer them over my overpriced adams towels

Not to bring up an old thread but, NEVER use auto part or walmart towels on your paint. It's just as bad as using a shop rag. They will scratch your paint.

OP in my experience with Uber all together has been good. I use their pads for polishing and their towels have been great. My collection of towels is from adams, griots, chemical guys, and uber. If you take care of your towels and wash them properly you can get a few years out of them easily.

The uber MF towels are great. I would also suggest not using Autozone MF towels, as they will leave scratches in Nissan's soft clear.

It's better to invest in some good MF towels that you take care of rather than buying some throw-away ones.

Uber makes an outstanding microfiber they are expensive but worth it. Also Adams Double soft is a great buffing towel, I love it. Stay away from store bought china-fibers they scratch the crap out of your clear and makes spiderwebs all over.

Adams are the best and only i would use, stick with what you know... I just wash my same 8 adams towels i have after a wash and they are perfect! I assume you use the Adams wash for the towels? I spend less now then years ago when i used the lesser expensive ones that did more damage then good.

Über are good. I also shop stocktowelsnow.com for their ultra plush. Go in with a few buddies and the price gets cheap. They are very plush and thick

I have both nice and throw away microfibers. But I am in the same boat with the plush finishing microfibers (Adam's are expensive and mine are old). I've been keeping an eye out on the Adam's Daily Special thread for a good deal, but I think I will look to get some Uber towels :tup:

I also use uber microfiber towels too. I have also started using Chemical Guy's microfiber towels and they are equally impressive as the uber towels.

The Adams towels are a bit more, but well worth it. They lasted me a couple of years and still work fine. Just can't toss them around like the cheapo's from pep boys. The cheap stuff is fine for windows and polishing exhaust tips. I think Adams makes a few other cheaper alternatives to the double soft towels.

I've got mostly Adam's and Griot's. The cheapest I would go is Meguiars. They're in stores, but a legit brand.
