Pollen (i think)
whenever i am parking outside i always ended up getting those lil yellow round spots on my car that leaves a yellowish tone on the clear coat that i cant seem to get rid of.
I think they are pollens but i am not sure, luckily i have a GM Z so the spots are not very noticeable. anyone have a quick solution for this? I cant imagine what my cant will look like if i have the PW Z. 'White, with a hint of yellow... all over the effin place' :shakes head: |
Maybe it's pollen or tree sap..
I know I'm about to start washing off the sap drizzle that's ALL OVER my car :( |

is it all over the paint equally or just in small spots? I wouldn't say it was likely pollen if it's in spots, but anything is possible... you should throw some pics up and we can help you more.
Is your car sealed/waxed? How long since the last time it was done if so? |
I have the same problem. Little yellow/orangeish spots that appear out of no where and leave some kind of residue behind after you wipe off the top layer. I also get lines instead of spots sometimes.

not pollen, that would just wipe off.

Its tree sap, goodluck gettin that off.

I had spots on my car and I realized it was fly poop... they weren't yellow. Get it off of the car asap and then put a GOOD coat of sealant on it... a hard sealant such as opti-coat, FinishKare, Collinite double wax, etc... layer that stuff on so it won't stick as bad anymore.

OP: I would suggest Klasse All in one.. it's a GREAT product and will remove tar, stains, light scratches and swirls and will seal the paint at the same time. You can do the whole car in it and I believe it's good for about 3-4 months.. but use gentle car wash... look for something that says it won't strip wax. Phil had sent me a sample of Lusso I believe is how it's spelled and it was great wash... very mild and 1 ounce would give you an entire bucket of suds. I also think Dodo makes a car wash that I can't remember the name it's like wild to mild or something. |

I have wondered about this for years and one day I walked a warehouse and found one of my cars these yellow spots all over the car. Above the the car in the rafters was a bee's nest. Mystery solved, it's bee pollen. It will leave a very light yellow stain when washed but the stain can be easily removed with some detail spray or very fine polish.
