Yeah im kinda in the same boat. Just purchased a 2011 nismo 370Z and came to my parents house. Their driveway is way to steep, i started to scrape at the very beginning so i slowly backed down. Went to ask the neighbor if i could use the driveway, and started up it and had the same problem. And they have a very mild driveway. So im kinda screwed. Guess ill be buying hose extensions and washing it in the street 75 feet away from the house #FRUSTRATED

Hope Im not too late but check with your dealer. My dealer offered a deal to me about adding Some special coating every 6 months for me at the dealer for x amount of money wasnt that much either but i decided to not to go with it for now. Guy said basically they Wash and detail your car and add some special coating For 5 Years every 6 months.

it's just polymer sealant...

you can do it yourself with something like this.

Amazon.com: Griot's Garage 11088 Paint Sealant - 16 oz.: Automotive

i use this on my dd's... every 6months. i apply using griot's orange pad and my 6" random orbital.

If I kept this car swirl free without a hose using the aforementioned products and techniques, you can too! 1996 900se 2.0t with a GT28 turbo, full supporting mods and chassis mods (360hp). I sold it last summer with about 36,000 miles on it.... I'm blabbering now aren't I...

Christian370z,

You sure do know how to detail a car. This car is absolutely gorgeous!

It must have taken you several days to get these kind of results (distinction of image, clarity, wet look, etc.).

Would NOT let the dealer wash my car... who knows who they have doing it. They could easily scratch the hell out of the car.

I have been using ONR and occasional optimum spraywax in my apartment without any hose. Works just fine. If I am in a hurry will just spray off at the coin-op place (tends to leave a lot of waterspots but better than nothing).
